What are my CEU requirements?

How long are the CEU Modules?

Each CEU module should take around 50 minutes to complete. We have included sets of questions throughout each module. The time it would take to complete these questions has been factored into the estimated 50 minutes.

How much does each CEU module cost?

Each module costs $20.00. This covers the cost of production, and hosting of the modules.

Do I have to complete a module in one session?

No you do not, however you will need to complete a module on the same computer. If you need to exit a module before completion, it will ask you if you would like to resume where you left off providing you are using the same computer when you resume.

How do I purchase the modules?

Each module will launch from the IFAS Bookstore website. When you reach the bookstore site, we recommend you purchase over the telephone between the hours of 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday. This will ensure the quickest most direct response in distributing your CEU credit. The phone number at the IFAS bookstore is 1-800-226-1764. Just call them and tell them which module(s) you would like to purchase.

Can I view the modules on my computer?

Adobe Flash Player is required to view each module. Chances are your computer already has this since it is now found on over 97% of computers. If you do not have Flash Player, you may download it for free here. Since our modules incorporate audio and video, we suggest using a broadband connection to view them. A dial up connection will work however.

There are no CEU modules available in a category I need, what can I do?

The modules on this site focus mainly on agricultural topics, falling mainly in Bureau of Compliance Monitoring approved categories. We do however, have some Bureau or Entomology and Pest Control approved modules. Please see our CEU page to search by category. If you would like to see a topic get more focus, we stongly welcome your suggestions. Please contact us with suggestions or comments. There are plenty of other options to receive quality CEU credits as well, we have listed some alternatives here.

When can I expect to receive my CEU credit?

You can receive credit with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services almost immediately after completion and payment of each module. To ensure a speedy process, please call the IFAS Bookstore at 1-800-226-1764 to purchase the modules. There is a form at the end of each module asking for the required information that appears on CEU attendance forms. As soon as we receive payment confirmation, and the completion form, you will be credited with FDACS and your completed attendance form will be put in the mail.
