Survey Still Requested/Fumigant Needs/CEUs

Due to some technical problems, the survey was available after many were notified last month.  Please visit the link with the newsletter survey on our website (http://pested.ifas.ufl.edu) so that we can better inform you in the future.  We would also like to surveyreview how some of the information you provide to us is used in the grand scheme of things.

Also, the EPA is currently assessing potential impacts of fumigation risk mitigation for: carrot, cantaloupe, cucumber, eggplant, forest seedlings, nursery crops, onion, peanut, pepper, potato, squash, strawberry, sweet potato, tobacco, tomato, and watermelon.  If you or your clients use any type of fumigants in a crop or site other than these, please contact the PIO immediately, as your needs must be documented and represented.

Finally, the Pesticide Information Office’s CEU database continues to grow.  We now have around 20 modules online, each qualifying for CEU credit.  Please visit http://pested.ifas.ufl.edu/ for more information.
