• On June 6, the FDACS approved the registration of three Shake-Away products that contain either coyote or fox urine or both as animal repellents for lawns, gardens, or structures.  The EPA registration numbers are 80917-1, 80917-4, and 80917-5.  (FDCAS PREC Agenda, 7/3/08).

•  A new formulation of lambda-cyhalothrin containing twice the active ingredient is available as Warrior II from Syngenta.  (Syngenta, 6/2/08).
• The EPA has registered the insecticide/acaracide QRD 400 from Agraquest Inc. (EPA Reg. No. 69592-22) for use in field- and container-grown non-food ornamental plants in commercial nurseries, greenhouses, and lath- and shadehouses.  It is an extract of Chenopodium ambrosioides var. ambrosioides.  The biopesticide reportedly has activity against mites, aphids, whiteflies, and thrips.  (Federal Register, 6/13/08).
