National Stored Product IPM Training Conference

If you work with stored commodities, please spread the word about an important upcoming training opportunity, the VIIth National Stored Product Integrated Pest Management Training Conference to be held April 18-20, 2007 at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK (http://www.ento.okstate.edu/spipm/).

This conference will have experts in the field reporting on the latest methods, techniques and products for managing pests of stored grain and value-added food products.  Information will be presented in both classroom format and small-group hands-on sessions, designed as a “train-the-trainer” program for those in Extension, education and industry.  Continuing Education Credits will be offered for those wishing to fulfill pesticide applicator training requirements, and potential exists for scholarships to subsidize registration and travel expenses for qualified public sector employees.  (OSU, 1/27/07).
