  • The EPA and USDA are requesting information from anybody that uses aminopyridine (Avitrol®) in their operations.  If this active ingredient is one of the tools you use to conduct business, please contact the PIO.
  •  The EPA’s Office of Pesticide Programs has concluded that products being sold to control pests that are known to carry viruses, or other vector-borne public health threats, must be supported by evidence that they are effective against the target pest.  The EPA is now looking at options to ensure that minimum risk [25(b)] public health pesticide that are otherwise exempted from regulation are effective.  A docket has been established.  Call the PIO for further information.  (EPA OPP Update, 7/20/07).
